The beauty of this Cooper Lighting recessed kit is that you no longer have to guess which housing belongs with which trim – the can and trim come packaged with each other. This combined packaging drastically simplifies the usually confusing process of selecting recessed lighting.
The P400TW kit combines 7-1/4-inch diameter white open trim and dome glass lens with five-inch low profile housing. The light is thermally protected and listed for damp areas producing it perfect for use in bathrooms with suspended ceilings, in remodels, or in new construction.
Correct installation of the light requires that insulation be kept a few inches from the housing. To set up with bar hangers, be confident to acquire 24-inch bar hangers P98 (sold separately). Light makes use of 60-watt A19 bulb (not integrated). UL regulated for security.–Bree Norlander
